Follow these steps to complete your potion book!
Step One: Play the following multiplication games to get your brain in shape and to sharpen your math powers! You can use your multiplication chart if needed. You may play with a friend or on own.

Step Two: Choose four word problems from the website below to solve. You must draw pictures to solve them. Be sure to pick 4 different multiplication tables (not all 5's, or 2's...mix it up!)
These problems are to be neatly drawn and colored!
Be sure to write the equation at the bottom of the page (factor x factor = product).
When finished swap with a buddy and correct each others work. Help your partner if there is an incorrect answer and solve together (use your chart if necessary).

Step Three: Now you are ready to make your multiplication potion book! You will create 5 word problems, one problem per page. Each word problem will have an illustration, you will draw a picture of your word problem. You will make sure this picture is neat and colored. You will leave a space at the bottom so a friend can solve it. Write the equation at the bottom of the page but... Do not include the answer! Your book will also include a cover page with a title, the author (YOU) and a line called Solver to be filled in by the person who answers your word problems.
When your book is finished pass it in to me, I will distribute books for classmates to solve once everyone is done!
